  14.        I just started getting this newsgroup a few days ago.  So if
  15.        the answers to my questions have been posted in the past you 
  16.        can understand why I haven't seen them. (No flames please, 
  17.        we'll save that for later <grin>)

  19.        I have a new 28.8 Sportster.  It says it's a 33.6 on the box.
  20.        I have had no problems with it except when I type ati11 I get
  21.        an error.  According to the manual ati11 is supposed to display
  22.        some call statistics.  Does anyone know why I get a error?

  24.        My friend has a 28.8 Sportster, a Packard Bell computer, and
  25.        Windows 95.  His modem does not say plug-and-play or 33.6 on
  26.        the box.  He says when he connects with another modem he gets a
  27.        bunch of "crap" on the screen.  (I hope the "crap" terminology
  28.        isn't over everyones head <grin>)  Does anybody have some
  29.        suggestions on what he should do?
